 Why Study Abroad? As a Student interview If you grew up in Sweden and lived here your entire life, you'd think that one thing is normal and there's one way of living life, and you move to a completely different place and you realize that, there's so many different realities and just so many different ways of looking at life, and living life. My name's Sofia, I'm 31 years old. I am from Sweden and I studied in Los Angeles. I studied directing at the American Film Institute, I Googled film schools in the States, I wanted to go to a place where the best people in the world were, at film. I had no idea what to expect, It's a completely different culture in the States. I was wondering what that would be like and if I would like the people, because that's why I went there was because I wanted to meet people like me, and were good at making films, and I was a little bit worried that I wouldn't fit in, or that they would be totally different. #Education
